About Vindoux

Vindoux Guest Farm and Spa was bought by Roy and Irene Ashurst in 2008 and is a family run business with the help of their daughter and son-in-law, Sophie and Driaan du Toit.

Vindoux was set up as a guest farm in 2005 but was quite different from the romantic retreat it is today. We have 4 luxury tree houses and are busy with our 5th, as well as 4 self catering cottages. Our dedicated reception and housekeeping team strive to give all our guests a memorable vacation with attention to detail and friendly service.

Our Day Spa was built in 2008 and has been growing ever since, with a team of 3 highly qualified therapists to cater for your every need.

In April 2010 we closed the doors of our onsite bush pub for the last time. We are currently busy putting the final touches to our country kitchen which will provide our guests with gourmet picnics, in-room dining, take-always and other delicious treats.

The fruit farming side of Vindoux is currently rented out to a local farmer. We have export quality plums, nectarines and pears on the farm and a visit in harvest season can be very interesting. We farm the vineyards ourselves and although we sell most of the grapes to a local cellar we are busy with small quantities of our own blends and are hoping to do a lot more in the future! We currently have cabernet, Viognier and Mouvedre varieties planted and would like to add some Shiraz in the future.

We have many bird species on the farm for bird watchers and quite a few small mammals too. Hopefully in the next few years we will be adding a small game camp to the farm so that guests have an opportunity to walk among indigenous species and learn a little bit more about the wonderful fauna and flora the Cape has to offer.

Vindoux is the ideal breakaway from city life and we strive to give you a holiday you will never forget for all the right reasons!
